Ms Elena Constantinou is specialised in debt restructuring, debt recovery, business turnarounds and new lending and she is a licensed Insolvency Practitioner in Cyprus. She has investment banking experience from JPMorgan Chase in New York and London and has held several positions in Corporate Banking and Debt Recovery at Hellenic Bank and the Bank of Cyprus over the past 15 years. She has also worked for Credit Acquiring Companies in Cyprus as a business development manager and has negotiated and executed several portfolio purchases from Cypriot banks.  Ms Constantinou has an MBA from the London Business School and maintains business networks abroad. She is a member of the special teaching staff of the University of Cyprus Department of Business Administration, teaching courses in Entrepreneurship, Negotiations, Conflict Resolution, Strategic Management and Business Communications. Recently, she has been appointed president of the Cyprus American Alumni Association, which amongst others, aspires to build business networks between Cyprus and the USA. She is active in advising on the financial feasibility of entrepreneurial ventures, in coaching business professionals and in volunteering. Mr. Nicolas Poumpourides is an experienced Compliance Officer with 23 years of demonstrated managerial experience in the legal, financial services and banking industries. He is currently located in Brussels, providing professional trainings related to anti-money laundering and counter terrorist financing.   He brings to his trainings a wealth of experience from being a lawyer in reputable law firms in Cyprus, acting as the director of the legal & compliance department in a consulting firm and working as a compliance expert in a worldwide banking institution in Luxembourg. His notable achievements include successfully developing and implementing in 2018, as the Chief Compliance Officer, the AML compliance program of the first 'Cyprus asset management company'.   Mr. Poumpourides is highly skilled in Regulatory (MiFID I&II) and AML/CFT Compliance & Risk Management and the EU Financial Services legal framework with regards to the IF, AIF and AIFM pre- and post-trade compliance. He has an extensive legal background with a Master of Laws - LL.M in Legal Practice Course (LPC), is a member of the ACAMS as an AML specialist, an associate member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments (CISI) and is certified by the Cyprus Securities & Exchange Commission. He has a proven track record of providing professional trainings to a large audience.
